Vivo will launch its new X5Max in Southeast Asia markets like Thailand, Malaysia,Myanmar and Indonesia.
Vivo X5Max Southeast Asia version has a slightly increased thickness of 5.08mm (because of bigger battery) instead of the original Chinese version's 4.75mm thickness.
Vivo X5Max Southeast Asia version runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box,features 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and packs an 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (quad-core 1.7GHz + quad-core 1GHz), along with 2GB of RAM.
Vivo has also put in a bigger 2300mAh battery in the X5Max Southeast asia version that is significantly bumped up from the 2000mAh one on the orginally X5Max Chinese version. This has also increased the thickness of the device by 0.33mm (which is now 5.08mm).
On camera front, the Vivo X5Max packs the 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a front 5-megapixel camera. The 16GB inbuilt storage on the X5Max is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB).
Connectivity options on the Vivo X5Max include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB OTG.
